Local Service Toolbox

We are continuing to develop tools that reflect our Fellowship’s best practices and experiences delivering services locally.

The focus for the 2023–2026 cycle is virtual services, including virtual service meetings, virtual meetings and areas participating in the service system, virtual workshops and trainings, etc. The first step we are taking is to develop Virtual Service Basics.

Join a Focus Group: We are hosting online discussions with experienced members on a regular basis to review and develop the outline and content of Virtual Service Basics. Please submit your information via the focus group volunteer form if you have experience of virtual service outside of the group level and want to get involved.

Stay Informed: Project updates will be included in NAWS News and NAWS Update emails. Subscribe here: na.org/subscribe, and if you have any questions please email [email protected]. We encourage you to continue sending us your locally created resources and to share your ideas.

Here are the tools we have developed so far:

Following a decision by participants at the 2018 WSC, service materials produced by this project will be identified as World Board-approved material and follow the same approval process as service pamphlets. That means after the World Board signs off on them, drafts will be posted for a 90-day conference participant review before being identified as approved.
