If you are a music buff from way, way, way back in the day, then you would definitely remember the Latin/R&B band Tierra from the 70's. You might even recall their biggest 1980's hit "Together" which reached #18 on the U.S. Pop charts and #9 on the R&B Chart. Passing great talent down to a new generation, the relatives of the members of the group Tierra is now a catchy name. DW3 is one of the most enthusiastic, smooth, new sounding bands in the Los Angeles area. Eric, William and Damon are the three harmonious voices that bring this high energy R&B Jazz and Latin Soul band to life. DW3 is comprised of outstanding musicians which consist of Keyboards, Percussions, Drums, Bass and Guitar.
For the last 3 years DW3 has had the pleasure of performing on the Warren Hill, Wayman Tisdale and Dave Koz Jazz Cruises. They performed on shows like City of Lights Jazz Fest, Newport Jazz Festival, Long Beach Jazz Fest, BB Kings, Vault 30 and recently on the Annual Taste of Soul Festival in Los Angeles to name a few. Every year to show their appreciation, DW3 performs for our US troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, Asia, and throughout Canada. Currently the group just finished its third album "On the Floor" produced by Two Time Grammy Award Winner Paul Brown and Marcus Miller.

Blues Luncheon with Royal Southern Brotherhood
Thursday August 29th
Here’s your chance to seek a rockin’ royal audience. The blood of American music royalty courses through the veins of RSB. Start with Cyril Neville and Devon Allman, who carry the southern blues-rock lineage of the Neville Brothers and the Allman Brothers. Inject a dose of Yonrico Scott’s Detroit-grown gospel roots and the musical life’s blood of St Louis-born Mike Zito. Back all this up with Charlie Wooton’s New Orleans/Atlanta brewed “zydefunk” bass line—and a whole new realm of hip-shakin’ blues-rock has you in its grip.
Devon Allman (guitar, vocals) blazes his own path alongside the bloodline of father Gregg Allman with a powerful, multi-dimensional voice steeped in soul. He fuses fire, attitude, and a sweetness on guitar, influenced by greats like Carlos Santana, Dickey Betts and Mick Taylor. Allman toured the world for the last decade with his own group, Devon Allman’s Honeytribe before the RSB collaboration.
Cyril Neville (vocals, percussion) boasts a resume that starts with The Neville Brothers and travels a blues journey that includes a Grammy Award (for the record “Yellow Moon”), his own band Tribe 13, and collaborations with Bob Dylan, Robbie Robertson, Dr. John, Tab Benoit, Edie Brikell, Willie Nelson, Bono, Taj Mahal, and Daniel Lenois—just to name a few. Musical royalty runs deep in Cyril’s blood. You hear and feel it in his percussion and the growl and howl of his vocals.
Mike Zito (vocals, guitar) rocks a mean Gulf Coast-style guitar, sings like nobody’s business, and comes armed with raw tone and pure grit that he can turn on a dime into silky smooth guitar melodies. He draws it up from the depths of his rock bottom life as a law-breaking, homeless addict—and his rise to living clean today. Zito and Neville won the 2009 Blues Music Song of the Year Award for “Pearl River,” the title track to Zito’s 2009 release. And Zito rides with Sam Crow with his hit, “Roll On,” featured in a November 2012 episode of Sons of Anarchy.
Yonrico Scott (drums) struck his first drum at age seven, starting a lifelong pursuit of the best percussion training available in Motown and beyond. His Grammy-award-winning trek includes work with artists and groups like the Derek Trucks Band, his own Yonrico Scott Band (YSB), BB King, Eric Clapton, Santana, Buddy Guy, Joe Satriani, John Popper, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Peabo Bryson, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, George Benson, Anita Baker, The Allman Brothers Band, Susan Tedeschi, Kansas, The Supremes, Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and Broadway shows “The Wiz” and “Dream Girls.”
Charlie Wooton (bass)—plucks, slaps, and strums the bass in his own unique musical style. From classrooms to clubs and out to the street; from Louisiana to the West Coast and back to Atlanta, Wooton has studied and procured a matchless passion and perspective. He founded The Charlie Wooton Project and then coined the musical hybrid (and name of his second band), zydefunk; and played with Bonerama before joining RSB.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be infused with the royal blues blood of RSB.
